With a thruYou account, you create and maintain your own charitable giving “foundation” — your portfolio of personally chosen causes selected from the full list of registered Canadian charities.
You decide when and how much to donate to each cause by setting “allocations” — the % of your available donation credits that you wish to distribute to each of your chosen causes.
Donations are made with thruYou donation credits. One donation credit equals one cent; 100 donation credits equals one dollar.
You can add donation credits to your thruYou account by buying them, earning them with the thruYou credit card, and by redeeming thruYou give2 gift cards that are gifted to you. And we'll soon be adding many other additional ways to earn donation credits thru your every day activities!
